About Me
I am passionate about the law and have been since a young age (when I was one of those kids who watched all the law dramas on TV and dreamt about the day that I could solve people’s legal problems – albeit that I soon found out it was not quite as glamorous as it appeared on TV, which actually suited me perfectly).
I focused virtually exclusively on employment law for the first twelve years of my legal career, and as a director in the employment law department at Edward Nathan Sonnenbergs, I was privileged to have awesome clients entrusting me with challenging and exciting work in all aspects of employment law – from drafting executive employment contracts and employee handbooks, to providing opinions on restructuring and the effects of the sale of businesses on employees.
When I decided to leave ENS in order to join a smaller corporate business and gain more experience in the entrepreneurial and business world, my legal career expanded and I was able to gain expertise and experience in providing a broad range of commercial legal services to the company. I was then appointed as the Group Legal Executive of the Lightstone group of companies where my daily activities saw me drafting share acquisition agreements, shareholder agreements, service level agreements, brand agreements, data provider agreements – and virtually every other form of commercial agreement in between.
And so it was that in September 2017 I decided to spread my entrepreneurial wings and offer my services independently to clients. Which brings me to where I am today – offering personal legal services, establishing and growing relationships with my clients, and adding value through meticulous drafting and attention to detail.
In addition to having authored a book CCMA for Managers (Fleet Street Publishers), I love sharing my passion for the law through speaking at conferences and providing training to my clients.

And when I’m not working?
You’ll find me spending time with my dog (or my dog collar “side hustle” that is my creative outlet), lost in a book (either writing or reading one), climbing a mountain, running, or spending time with friends and family, perhaps over some bubbles.
